Pamthunzi Anglican Development Program (PADEP) is an independent development arm of the Anglican Diocese of Upper Shire formed in December, 2013 to facilitate the implementation of all developmental and humanitarian projects in the communities across the Diocesan catchment area.
Currently the Development arm has five main projects being implemented in the areas of health, education, agriculture, food security and climate change, women and youth empowerment.
To be a responsible Community with full of opportunities where morbidity and mortality rate amongst children, women and vulnerable groups are reduced and communities are positively supported in areas of Health, Education, Agriculture food security and climate change in the targeted communities.
PADEP MISSION STATEMENT
We are a humanitarian, faith based and not for profit making organization whose mission is to empower communities and other institutions in areas of Health, Education, Agriculture food security and climate change in order to reduce Morbidity and Mortality rate amongst children, women and vulnerable groups through community mobilization, capacity building and community empowerment.
